The most effective ways to get campus communities to sign up for text alerts is new student orientation (except for hospitals), new hire orientation and email announcements.

Nearly a third of college respondents say that auto enrollment with an opt-out option is very effective, while parent/teacher meetings are quite effective for nearly one in four K-12 schools and districts.
