Strength #5: Public Relations & Operational Continuity—Gaps in Resiliency

In our fifth (and last) category of strength, 89 percent of participants expressed confidence in their institution’s ability to develop and implement corrective actions across stakeholder groups.

In fact, 37 percent of institutions said they would not have any challenges, citing pre-incident
training and drills for responders, faculty, and students to translate lessons learned into new policies and procedures.

But 52 percent of institutions cited moderate challenges, including how to engage internal and external partners to implement a corrective action.
