  • Heroes Behind the Badge Award (2016)
  • Named one of the Forty Leaders Under 40 by Peoria Magazine (2019)

SAFETY & SECURITY

  • Secured and implemented Crisis Go emergency software for Peoria Public Schools
  • Created the School Safety Online Report System to track data and assist with social and emotional needs of students
  • Served on the team that created active assailant training for schools across Illinois
  • Conducts active killer presentations for staff in all Peoria schools
  • Liaison between the Peoria Police Department, the Peoria County Sheriff’s Department, and the community
  • Member of the City of Peoria’s Advisory Committee on Police Community Relations
  • Trained as a racial justice and equity facilitator, he was a panelist for the Peoria Summit on Racial Justice and Equity in March 2019

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Assists with other agencies to provide school supplies to students
  • Leads numerous food drives throughout the year
  • Adopter of the Little Free Library outside Lincoln K-8 School
