Spotlight on 2025 Campus Safety Director of the Year Finalist Adam Reid

Congratulations to Adam Reid, Director of Public Safety, Health, and Emergency Management at Montgomery College in Rockville, Md., for being named one of this year’s Campus Safety Director of the Year finalists.

Some of his notable achievements include:

  • Restructured his department, removing it from Facilities Management, and embracing the “One College, Three Campus” model with standardized policies and officer uniforms.
  • Created central dispatch to consolidate the dispatch functions for all three campuses into one central location
  • Obtained approval and funding for the addition of an emergency manager to his department.
