Spotlight on K-12 Campus Safety Director of the Year Finalist Christopher Ellisor

Congratulations to Lexington School District One Director of Safety and Emergency Services Christopher Ellisor for being named one of this year’s Campus Safety Director of the Year finalists.

Here are some of his notable achievements:

  • Implemented the standard response protocol and standard reunification method through the “I Love U Guys” foundation to create a unified emergency response for all the schools in the district.
  • Oversaw the implementation of the Vector Alert Tip Reporting System, which allows students to report tips anonymously by text 24 hours a day.
  • Improved the physical safety of district buildings, including the addition of video cameras, notification buttons to allow vetting of guests, physical barriers and other physical security upgrades.
