12 Times ‘See Something, Say Something’ Saved Lives

Where: Lexington School District One, Lexington, S.C.
What: A student submitted an anonymous tip that another student made a disturbing drawing that suggested he needed help. The district’s director of safety and emergency services intercepted the tip and was able to connect the student was the necessary resources.
In two other instances within the district, anonymous texts were sent regarding suicidal ideations. Law enforcement immediately went to those students’ homes for wellness checks.
