High School Student Shot On Way to School

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. — The mother of a high school student who was shot and killed Tuesday said she went to the Board of Education with complaints that her son was bullied.

Marckel Norman Ross, 18, was gunned down while walking to Central High School, NBC News reports. No suspects have been identified.

Grief counselors came to the school to support students after the shooting.
