Charlotte, N.C. — Less than a day after a Presbyterian Hospital nurse was stabbed in the facility’s parking lot, a second employee was pushed down a flight of stairs in the parking garage.

The hospital increased patrols after a nurse was stabbed three times in the shoulder early Wednesday morning and robbed by a man who tried to force her into her vehicle, NewsChannel 36 reports. The nurse’s injuries are non-life threatening.

On Wednesday evening, another female employee was attacked, WSOCTV.com reports. The hospital is now escorting staff to their cars.
