- Created the Campus Safety Division, which now incorporates the Lehigh University Police Department and security guards; campus safety communications center; identification, electronic access, and locksmith office; Life Safety, Environmental Health and Safety; and Emergency Medical Services.
- Reversed mandatory arrest policies for alcohol violations, reducing arrests by 90% with no statistically significant increase in crimes or alcohol-related medical incidents.
