Kevin Graham, Director of Campus Security, Florida Institute of Technology
- Worked with the Secret Service and other local authorities to ensure the security of President Barack Obama, Vice Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan and many other political figures
- Implemented a blue light emergency phone system on campus, coordinating the installation of 80 units across campus
- Performed a “budget scrub” that identified vendor overcharges, which helped to pay for six new security golf carts

- In a little over a year, revised 35 critical policies, including those related to pursuits, weapons, authority and jurisdiction, use of force, code of conduct, racial profiling, training and promotions
- Worked so now an inspector is a regular participant in the Texas Fusion Center and another being assigned general intelligence duties
- Redesigned officers’ uniforms and patches so they wouldn’t be confused with private security personnel
