The kickoff of the MCTC Public Safety Bike Patrol in 2016 has seen overwhelming support from the campus community and would not have been possible without the support of local companies through grants and services provided. MCTC is located in downtown Minneapolis, Minn., and has 26 acres of patrol area to cover in a dense urban environment. This bike patrol has proven to be both a fantastic outreach tool for the campus community and the community at large. The officers patrolling are highly visible and focus on community outreach.
