The 2024 Campus Safety Conference Agenda is Here!
Topics include reunification, funding, the Clery Act, increasing community engagement, free speech, tabletop exercises, and more.
Campus Safety is thrilled to announce the agenda for our summer Campus Safety Conference is now live! The national event, happening July 8-10, will be held in Atlanta, Ga., at the beautiful Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park. The event offers immersive learning and extensive networking experiences and focuses on peer-to-peer presentations, hands-on workshops, panel discussions, and solution showcases.
“In 2023, Campus Safety celebrated ten years of CSC. Our events brought together representatives from 39 states and four countries from K-12 and higher education institutions,” says Dana McClay, Show Director of Campus Safety Conference. “As we look towards the next 10 years of Campus Safety Conference, we hope to continue to be a national resource of education, peer relationship building, and connectivity. The changes we have made for the 2024 event align with this goal.”
CSC strives to collaborate with presenters who have varying backgrounds and experiences and therefore offer different personal and professional perspectives. Speakers at CSC include a security director, a chief operating officer, a grant writing associate, a Title IX coordinator, a retired commander, a current police chief, a compliance director, an assistant superintendent, a public safety director, a business continuity analyst, and more.

What Else Can I Expect at the 2024 Campus Safety Conference?
In addition to the various offerings attendees have come to love and expect from CSC, this year’s event will feature several new and improved opportunities, including:
- New Conference Tracks: Listening to your feedback, we have incorporated more concurrent breakouts into CSC to ensure diverse learning options throughout the event. We will now have FIVE conference tracks to choose from, including Leadership, Future Planning and Emerging Solutions, Current Events, Prevention and Policy, and Team Training and Techniques. Focus on the areas of need for your team by diving in further with 20 of these one-hour, peer-to-peer sessions.

- Consultations: Coordinating with our partners at the Grants Office, LLC, we will have one-on-one consultation appointments onsite Tuesday. If you have a project you are working on, questions about where to start, or need help navigating an open process, the team is here to help! More information on signing up will be coming soon for those registered and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- More Panel Sessions: Our 2024 schedule allows for THREE panel-style discussions, taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday. We know our audience loves to hear multiple perspectives and we believe this change will be a welcome one. Our agenda has more information on each general session event.
- Scholars Program: New in 2024, we have introduced a scholars program for July 7 and 8. CSC will host attendees who are actively sourcing products and solutions to improve their campuses by offering exclusive networking, tailored education, and premier product showcases. Invited scholars are decision-makers in an active buying cycle or RFP process.
