Two training cadets were on their way to a gun safety class when one of the cadets accidentally shot the other at a Utah college.
The injured cadet had minor surgery at a nearby hospital but is expected to be okay. Both cadets were on their way to the gun class at Utah Valley University in Orem.
According to police, around 5:20 p.m. on May 4 one of the cadets was showing off a new handgun to another cadet when the gun went off in the Education building on campus, grazing the other cadet’s chest.
