AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas (UT) has released the 911 calls and video footage of the pandemonium that was caused when a student opened fire on campus that resulted in his death.
Video recordings show the shooter, 19-year-old Colton Tooley waving at a security guard as he was entering the Perry Casteneda Library, reports MyFoxPhoenix.com. Cameras also captured the gunman running up the stairs. Footage also shows a man yelling out “He shot himself,” at 8:21 a.m.
Furthermore, in one of the dozen 911 calls, UT Project Manager Tony Guzman described Tooley as a well-dressed man with his head covered carrying an AK-47.
The recordings were released two weeks after the Sept. 28 incident.
Police have yet to determine Tooley’s motive.
