Texas Hospital Boosts Security After 2 ER Nurses Assaulted

LUBBOCK, Texas — A woman faces charges for assaulting two nurses at Covenant Hospital.

Authorities say Tanisha Harris, 38, injured two nurses during her August 14 visit at the medical facility, myfoxlubbock.com reports. Hospital administrators are currently investigating the incident.

The event has prompted Covenant Hospital to permanently station a security officer in the emergency room at all times.
