Suspect in Attacks on Young Girls Caught on Camera

BRADENTON,  Fla. — A suspect linked to several attacks on young girls has been captured on surveillance cameras. The man, who is seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt in the footage, raped a teenage girl and then went on to attack two others.

The parents of Manatee School District students criticized the district for failing to notify them after the first attack, ABC News reports. The second attack, which was captured by a home security camera, occurred only a few miles from a school.

On Feb. 10, the suspect attacked a 12-year-old girl in a church parking lot and attempted to sexually assault her. Later that day, he was captured on video by a school surveillance camera.

Schools are increasing campus security in response to these attacks. Police still do not have a good description of the suspect.
