Two juvenile females were detained by police after planning a suicide pact and school shooting on Facebook.

The females attended Tewksbury Memorial High School and Winthrop High School, both in Massachusetts. The Tewksbury Police Department first heard of the incident on Thursday morning from the Manchester Police Department in New Hampshire after a concerned citizen reported it.

The Tewksbury Memorial student was removed from school and “is getting the appropriate care at this time” according to Tewksbury Police Chief Timothy Sheehan. Winthrop police located the other juvenile involved before she arrived to school that morning.

Sheehan also says his department is consulting with the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office to determine if there should be criminal charges brought against the two females, according to patch.com.
