SAN PEDRO, Calif. — A student from San Pedro High School was injured by a stray bullet that was fired from off campus. The bullet punctured the wall of the classroom and grazed the girl’s leg or caused a piece of the wall to graze her leg.
A man allegedly fired several rounds near the campus, the Daily Breeze reports. The shots were reportedly intended for a person the gunman was arguing with; however, he missed and struck a portable classroom.
The student was transported to a nearby hospital and was reported to be in good condition.
Police have not yet located the gunman, who ran away from the scene.
