South Dakota State Bolsters Security After 2 Sexual Assaults

South Dakota State University is toughening up on security as a result of two sexual assaults in 10 days.

Police believe that one man is responsible for the attacks, with one occurring near Briggs Library and the other occurring in or near a parking lot, according to KSFY.com. Both took place late at night.

SDSU officials have doubled the number of security officers and have added more student patrols.

Officials have asked students to walk in pairs or in groups at night and to utilize the escort services provided by campus police if they are on campus late at night.
