CHICAGO – Kennedy King College was put on high alert Monday after law enforcement found a gang’s sniper’s next near the school.

The nest, which was across from the community college’s soccer field on top of a garage, contained a fully loaded Mac10 machine gun, reports WGN.
Officers found the weapon as they were investigating the area due to an ongoing conflict between two gangs.

No one on campus appears to have been a target, reports the Blaze.

The college released a statement on Monday evening about the incident, indicating there was not a threat to the campus.
