MADISON, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin has released an independent report on an incident in which a student claimed that an athletic department official grabbed his crotch.
The student alleged that former senior associate athletic director John Chadima put his hand down the student’s pants at the end of an alcohol-fueled party on Dec. 31 in Chadima’s hotel suite in Los Angeles during the football team’s trip to the Rose Bowl, MSNBC reports. Chadima was put on administrative leave on Jan. 6 and resigned the same day.
The school’s independent report said its findings were based on interviews with 23 people including students and professional staff.
Police will not be investigating the incident, as the student has opted not to file a report with the police, the Wisconsin State Journal reports.
