Professor Murdered in Home Invasion

GOSHEN, Ind. — Professor James S. Miller at Goshen College died Oct. 9 after he was attacked in his home during a home invasion robbery.

Professor Miller died at the scene and his wife was wounded. She was being treated at a regional hospital, according to a statement released by Goshen College President James E. Brenneman.

Miller primarily taught upper-level courses taken by students in nursing, pre-medical and other health-related tracks.

A vigil was to be held Sunday outside of the college’s science building.
