Police Shoot Man in Wisconsin Children’s Hospital
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Police shot and injured a man inside Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin on Thursday. He was wanted on an arrest warrant.
Law enforcement officers encountered the man —who has not been identified —as he was holding a baby in the neonatal unit, reports Fox News. When police told the suspect that he was under arrest, he put the baby down and ran down the hall, pulling out a handgun. Officers then shot him several times.
No one else was injured, and the baby and mother are doing fine. The hospital was placed on lockdown.
