NEW YORK — An investigation into Douglas Kennedy’s attempt to take his infant son from Northern Westchester Hospital found no evidence of child abuse.
A letter from the New York’s Office of Children and Family Services stated that the accusations made against Kennedy in February were unfounded, The Associated Press reports. The decision has not yet been made public and the source that provided the letter chose to remain anonymous.
The findings are not connected to the physical harassment charges made against Kennedy, who is accused of kicking a nurse and twisting another’s arm while trying to exit the hospital with his infant.
