Medical Student’s Death Causes Uneasiness at U. of Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The University of Michigan Police Department has increased patrols around campus to restore a sense of security following the death of a 25-year-old medical student.

Police discovered the body of Paul DeWolf in a pool of blood Wednesday inside his room of the Phi Rho Sigma medical fraternity, The Michigan Daily reports. DeWolf suffered from a single gunshot wound, and authorities have labeled his death as a homicide.

Since the incident, campus police have received an influx of calls about suspicious activities, indicating that the incident has caused uneasiness in the campus community, WWMT.com reports.
