An old man was arrested after hospital officials say he attacked security officers at an Oklahoma City hospital May 18.

Wayne Woods, 63, is accused of swinging an IV pole at security workers in St. Anthony Hospital after nurses found a glass pipe in his pocket. Officials eventually detained Woods, but not until after he struck one security guard in the chest with the pole, according to koco.com.

Officials later said the man had bags of crystal meth and pills in his possession, and nurses said they though the man had either recently used crystal meth or was going through withdrawals.

Woods had multiple visitors that were not his family visit him while he was at the hospital, and authorities suspect he was selling drugs from the hospital.
