Complaints Against Beyoncé’s Security Prompt Investigation

NEW YORK — A possible investigation will be launched into complaints at Lenox Hill Hospital following the birth of Jay-Z and Beyoncé‘s daughter. Patients and their family members allege that the couple’s security team prevented them from seeing their own newborns.

On Jan. 9, Lenox Hill’s executive director Frank Danza said that the couple had a security detail onsite, but the hospital was still in control of managing security at the facility, Reuters reports.  He explained that none of the security plans put in place by the security detail or the hospital would have prevented families from gaining access to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Danza also denied reports that said the couple had rented out an entire floor of the maternity ward.
