Each year, the Campus Safety Conferences offer “hot topic” sessions. While all types of sessions at these events are beneficial, these sessions are particularly unique because attendees are able to share their experiences in a small group setting.
These 30-minute discussion groups, moderated by an expert, are open forum chats that allow public safety professionals to discuss their successes and struggles related to a predetermined topic. Unlike other types of sessions at the Campus Safety Conferences, we limit the number of participants to ensure a personalized experience filled with collaboration and comradery.
Although the expert will kick off the discussion, these are meant to offer equal participation to all attendees. Our hope is that these discussions will provide participants with ideas for how they can improve their campus’ safety or security based on the experiences of others.
Whether you work at a K-12 school/district or on a college/university campus, we know you will find value in these sessions. Below is an outline of the sessions being offered. You can click on the links for more information on the topic.
