Hospital Officer Threatens to Harm Staff with Hazardous Materials

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A former security officer at St. Joseph hospital who was under investigation threatened to “take out the whole hospital and everyone in it.”

Kevin Lee Conway, 28, was fired on March 8, the same day he was charged with felony harassment, The Bellingham Herald reports. Hospital officials declined to say why they were investigating Conway.

Conway allegedly said he would use his knowledge of hazardous materials and access to restricted areas of the hospital to “take out as many people as he could,” including his security supervisor.
