MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — A Central Michigan University officer accused of driving two female students to a remote location and forcing them to bare their chests has resigned and been charged with misconduct.
Jeffrey Allen Card, 34, has been charged with misconduct in office, a five-year felony. Card apparently offered the women, who are both 21, a ride home from O’Kelley’s bar on Sept. 11.
Card drove the women to a remote area where he allegedly told them he would give them portable breath tests. Card told them they would have to expose their bare chests if the test results were higher than a limit Card set.
Card resigned on Sept. 15.
