Domestic Incident Leaves 2 Dead in Hospital Parking Lot

Two people were pronounced dead at Norman Regional Healthplex after an apparent murder suicide.

A man and a woman were found dead in an Oklahoma hospital parking lot July 17 after an apparent murder suicide.

The two people were discovered around 2:30 p.m. at the Norman Regional Healthplex parking lot after police say gunshots were heard by witnesses. Both victims were immediately taken to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead, according to edmondsun.com.

The shooting is suspected to have been a domestic incident, though no other information was released about the investigation.

Police and hospital security asked reporters to leave the premises as they worked to close down the crime scene. Ambulances are being diverted to the Normal Regional Hospital Porter Ave campus.
