CSU Long Beach Employee Killed in Elevator Accident
LONG BEACH, Calif. — A woman was killed in an elevator accident on the campus of California State University Long Beach Wednesday after she tried to climb out of the elevator, which was stuck between the second and third floors of a campus building.
Annette Lujan was trapped in the elevator for some time, NBC reports. For unknown reasons, the doors of the elevator were wedged open between the second and third floors, prompting Lujan to attempt to climb out. As she did, the elevator moved and crushed her.
Lujan was an employee of the university.
