15 Students Implicated In Sexual Misconduct

WATERVILLE, Maine — Colby College has found that 15 students violated its sexual misconduct policy. A dozen of those students were suspended, two students voluntarily withdrew from the college and another case is pending.

Officials have declined to disclose details of what took place, except that a student came forward on Nov. 6 alleging that the college’s sexual misconduct policy had been violated, The Boston Globe reports. Students committed a range of infractions from sexual misconduct and sexual harassment to lying to officials and conspiring to obstruct an investigation.

The student newspaper, The Colby Echo, has reported that members of the football team were involved in the misconduct.
