Take Time to Stop and Smell the Roses
Take the weekend off before the August rush begins.
Many campus safety leaders are about to hit one of the most hectic times of the year. August is usually a jam packed month, particularly for higher ed and K-12 campus safety folks who must prepare for another school year.
Though July is almost behind us, it might offer just a bit of time for campus safety personnel to take a long weekend or perhaps just a weekend with their loved ones to stop and take a much needed break. Those who protect others can tend to forget to take care of themselves at times.
If you are among the workaholics in the campus safety arena, try to remember that you perform at your best when you periodically take a rest!
