‘No Threat’ on Ind. College Campus Following Shooting
No one was injured in the shooting and police have located the shooting suspect.
A university in Indiana sent a string of emergency notifications to students after shots were fired on the edge of campus.
Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis police responded to the shooting in the afternoon of Nov. 22 and soon advised the school community that there was no threat, according to wndu.com.
The university’s Twitter account initially warned students of “a dangerous situation” and urged people to stay away from campus.
IUPUI Police determined there were three suspects following a man as he rode a city bus. When the man left the bus near campus one of the suspects fired several shots. No one was injured in the incident.
University police have accounted for the victim and the shooter and described the shooting as a domestic dispute.
