2 School Security Officers, 1 Janitor Suspected of Having Sex With Students

Security officers from Waukegan (Ill.) High School and Brooklyn’s Leon M. Goldstein High School, as well as a former custodian at Sedgefiled Elementary School in Greensboro, N.C., all stand accused of having inappropriate sexual relations with students at their respective schools.

Security officers from Waukegan (Ill.) High School and Brooklyn’s Leon M. Goldstein High School, as well as a former custodian at Sedgefiled Elementary School in Greensboro, N.C., all stand accused of having inappropriate sexual relations with students at their respective schools.

Timothy Kinsey, 44, pleaded not guilty to two counts of criminal sexual assault, reports CBS Chicago. The Waukegan High School safety officer is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student. He is scheduled to be back in court Dec. 3.

William Pagan, 35, has been fired for having sex with a Leon M. Goldstein High School student, reports the Daily News. Pagan is a security officer at Kingsborough Community College, which shares its campus with the high school. He was fired May 22. Goldstein’s assistant principal Christian Del Re, 32, is also facing firing for swapping nearly 3,000 texts with a different female student over 91 days.

Jose Licinio Portillo-Urrutia, 47, was arrested Saturday on multiple charges of inappropriate behavior with a student, reports news-record.com.  The former custodian at Sedgefield Elementary School has been charged with first-degree sex offense with a child, indecent liberties with a student and crime against nature. The alleged incidents occurred in June 2010 but were just reported to the authorities.
