Blackboard Unified Security Management System

Blackboard SMS is a complete, enterprise-class system designed specifically for the unique requirements of the educational community.

Blackboard demonstrated its Unified Security Management System (SMS) at this summer’s Campus Safety Conferences held in Texas, Virginia and California.

Blackboard SMS is a complete, enterprise-class system designed specifically for the unique requirements of the educational community. It integrates access control, video surveillance, digital media, monitoring capabilities and more. The solution improves campus security, public safety and emergency situational awareness, providing notification when a situation should be investigated.

Was motion or a glassbreak detected? Did a camera go offline? Blackboard SMS will notify the appropriate campus security personnel when these and other situations occur so they can respond.

In this video, Blackboard Senior Director Adam Groome demonstrates how to use Blackboard SMS.
