System Sensor Combination CO/Smoke Detector & Integration Module

System Sensor of St. Charles, Ill., has launched its i4 Series combination carbon monoxide (CO)/smoke detector and integration module.

Available in two-wire and four-wire versions, the low-voltage, system-connected, combination smoke and CO detection solution has the ability to integrate into conventional security and fire panels.

Because the integration module sits next to the panel, the system uses about 75% fewer wires, translating into lower installation cost and time, according to the company. The i4 module is also compatible with the company’s i3 Series smoke detectors, allowing customers to integrate up to 12 devices on a loop.
