Woman Dies in University Parking Lot Shooting
RIVER FOREST, Ill. — A woman is dead and three suspects are in custody after a shooting in a parking lot near Dominican University’s Priory campus on July 11. Chervon Alexander, 29, suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
A witness told police that a woman had been shot by a man who fled the scene in a gray car, Oakpark.com reports. River Forest police broadcasted the information, leading to a traffic stop where the suspects were arrested and a weapon was found.
Neither the victim nor the suspects were Dominican University students.
