Video Captures Vandals Damaging Islamic Private School

Three youths were captured on camera destroying property at Peace Academy, an Islamic private school in Oklahoma.

Video surveillance cameras recorded three intruders vandalizing property at Peace Academy, an Islamic private school in Tulsa, Okla.

The school’s principal, Zaheer Arastu, learned about the break-in on May 2, prompting him to review surveillance footage.

The vandals, who appeared to be no older than 12 years old, spent hours inside the school, vandalizing several classrooms, breaking glass, pulling items from lockers and spilling paint on floors, KTUL.com reports.

The incident occurred a day before Peace Academy’s annual community fair. When people heard about the break in, many community members stayed late into the night to help clean the school and get it ready for the fair.

Arastu says he does not hold any hard feeling toward the vandals, but encouraged them to think about the consequences of their actions.

Police are currently investigating the case.
