UC Davis Protesters Will Not Face Charges

DAVIS, Calif. — The Yolo County District Attorney’s office will not file charges against any of the 10 protesters arrested during the Nov. 18 pepper-spraying incident on the University of California, Davis (UC Davis) campus.

The protesters were cited with unlawful assembly by campus police, The Sacramento Bee reports. Michael Cabral, assistant chief deputy district attorney, said there wasn’t sufficient information to support the charges.

The Yolo DA office’s investigation into the use of pepper spray on the protesters is ongoing.
