Teen Stabs Texas Middle School Teacher

SAN ANTONIO—A 13-year-old Devine Middle School student who stabbed a band teacher has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in a weapons free zone.

The unidentified male has been transported to the Atascosa County Juvenile Detention Center, reports Kens5.com.

The attack happened in the school’s band hall around noon on Friday. School officials say the teacher was hospitalized for her injuries, but is expected to recover.
