Teen Dies After Freak Accident at Texas Tech

LUBBOCK, Texas — A 14-year-old boy died after he ran into a statue of a bull at Texas Tech University and impaled himself on one of its horns.

While playing a game of hide-and-seek with his friends during the pre-dawn hours at the National Ranching Heritage Center on June 22, Miguel Martinez took off running and suffered a chest wound from piercing himself on one of the horns of the statue, CBS News reports.
