MORROW, Ga. — A teacher at B.C. Haynie Elementary School was charged with public indecency last Friday after he walked naked around the campus. Harlan Porter told police he had achieved a “new level of enlightenment” and that his “third eye was open.”
Porter, 31, was booked into the Clayton County Jail and was released after posting $2,000 bond, The Smoking Gun reports. He avoided more serious charges because no students were present during the incident.
Morrow Police Department officer Khari Reed said that Porter had recently discovered that his employment contract would not be renewed. He had also been previously diagnosed with schizophrenia.
