Teacher Accused of Having Relationships With 2 Students
LOS ANGELES — A teacher at Roosevelt High School has been arrested for allegedly engaging in sexual relationships with two teenage students.
Gabriela Cortez, 42, was taken into custody Feb. 22 after police interviewed the two male students she allegedly had relationships with in recent years, the Los Angeles Times reports. One of the alleged victims went to police after Cortez broke off the relationship.
Police began to investigate and subsequently discovered a second alleged victim. Both are now legally adults.
