FORT WORTH, Texas — Campus police at Texas Christian University have received three E-mails reporting sexual assaults that have occurred on or near campus during August.
On Aug. 18, police received a report that a female student was sexually assaulted in a residence hall by someone she knew, the Star-Telegram reports. Campus police were also notified at an attempted assault took place in a residence hall on Aug. 22. Fort Worth police alerted campus police to another assault that occurred several blocks south of campus on Aug. 26.
TCU students were issued a letter from Kathy Cavins-Tull, vice chancellor for student affairs, after the assaults occurred. No arrests have been made as of Sept. 9.
