Survey: Nonsworn Hospital Security Officer Pay on the Upswing
Despite the fact that women make up about half of the U.S. population, none of this year’s respondents indicated that their departments have a 50/50 male-to-female employee ratio. That said, compared to 2011, there was a five percentage point drop this year in respondents who said that women make up 10% or less of their department, which is an improvement.
Only 7% of the respondents to this year’s survey were women.
