Students Put Noose on Dummy, Chain Black Classmate to Locker

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Police are investigating allegations that members of the Santa Monica High School wrestling team put a noose on a brown practice dummy, chained an African American teammate to a locker and made racial comments.

The victim found the practice dummy with a noose around its neck in the high school’s wrestling room, and then went to the locker room where he was grabbed by two white students, MSNBC reports.
