Shots Fired at U. of Cincinnati

CINCINNATI – There was a shooting early in the morning on May 27 just outside the residence hall at the University of Cincinnati.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, although one student was found to have been beaten.

Authorities believe the shooting was in retaliation to an altercation that occurred earlier in the morning involving 10 men. The male who had been assaulted is believed to have been the target, but according to police, he is not cooperating with investigators.

There have been no arrests, and authorities believe the threat has passed.
