Security Guard Struck Trying to Break Up Hospital Quarrel

EVERGREEN, Ill. — A visitor at the Little Company of Mary Hospital hit a security guard during an argument at the facility.

Robert Johnson, 43, engaged in a verbal altercation with Lamar Carey, 32, on the fifth floor of the hospital on Oct. 31. The two men argued and yelled obscenities, causing a disturbance. When a security guard tried to break up the squabble, Johnson elbowed the guard in the stomach, Evergreen Park Patch reports.

Johnson has been charged with battery and disorderly conduct, while Carey faces disorderly conduct charges.
